Evergreen Helicopters is back in full operation out of its Galveston, TX base after last week’s evacuation. After Hurricane Rita hit the area, Evergreen was one of the first companies on the island to go back to work. The Texas base, in collaboration with the other Evergreen support offices, is managing numerous contracts in the region, including the operation of a fleet working in support of relief efforts following the devastation of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
